If you’re here, you probably:
Just completed a diagnostic with me (or were referred by a happy family)
Know your child is capable of more than their current ACT/SAT scores
Don’t want to spend thousands on 1:1 tutoring
Are worried your kid will either procrastinate… or study the wrong things
You’re not alone. Many families I work with feel the same way. That’s why I built the Small Group for Self‑Starters:
A structured, LD-specialist-led program for students with learning differences who can follow a plan with support, in a small, safe setting.
We start with a private orientation call:
Review your student’s diagnostic results
Set a clear, realistic score goal and test date
Map out a week‑by‑week study plan with links to every resource they need
Your child never has to wonder, “What should I do today?” They log in, follow the plan, and check off the boxes.
At least 2 live classes every week (we add more times if groups get bigger, to keep things small)
Max ~5 students per call – no giant webinar feel
Short teaching segment plus open Q&A, so your student can:
Ask questions about homework or practice tests
Learn strategies for tricky question types
Hear other students’ questions they didn’t know to ask
Your student can attend as many calls as they’d like each week.
When your child gets stuck:
They send a screenshot or question
The relevant tutor sends back a clear explanation (often as a short video)
No waiting until “next week’s class” to get unstuck. And since the instructor knows your child and their learning challenges, they can respond in a way they know will make sense.
Some weeks, students need extra help.
You can book a la carte 1:1 sessions with our tutors to:
Fix a stubborn weak area
Review a full practice test
Calm nerves before a real exam
You get flexibility without committing to a full 1:1 program.
High schoolers with some learning differences (ADHD, dyslexia, processing, executive function disorders, etc.)
10–16 weeks before their ACT/SAT date
Need accountability, structure, and the ability to ask questions
Are capable of following a plan when adults help them stay on track
Students who refuse to study at all, even with support
Students who need very large score jumps or are applying to ultra‑competitive schools
Students with more significant learning or behavioral needs who truly require intensive 1:1
It's about $500 to get started with this program. That will get your student set up with their materials, study plan, orientation, and 4 weeks of prep.
That covers:
Live small group calls: 2–5 per week (attend as many as you like)
1:1 orientation & custom plan
Asynchronous question help
Tuition: $97 setup fee, then $100/week
Minimum commitment: first 4 weeks
Optional 1:1 add‑ons not included: available as needed, rate varies based on selected tutor
After that, you can continue as-needed for $100/week (billed every 4 weeks) until your student takes their final test and is satisfied with their score.
